Somewhat hidden. Generous and tasty portions. Home-style cuisine with a modern interpretation. Also applies to the well-kept facility. Staff always friendly without being intrusive or annoying. Families with children are also welcome. Special requests are accepted and implemented. I also think it's good that some main courses can have fried potatoes or French fries as a side dish. We really like to eat here.

I have to honestly say that my expectations have been exceeded by far! When I first came in, I thought it was a typical restaurant / bar next to a sports field, but the food convinced me otherwise. It tasted very good, didn't look industrial, but tasted freshly made! In addition there were the waitresses, which were very friendly and accommodating!

Six of us reserved a table there and had high expectations that were fueled by an article in the Kieler Nachrichten. I have to say we were totally disappointed. Posthorn pan for 17.50 euros totally overpriced, totally greasy pan from which one had to eat without an additional plate. Everything swam in the fat and then topped it off with herb butter. Vegetables appeared to be canned, not fresh at all. Just to wean yourself off. Suddenly the Radeberger was on tap and it was served Jever fun (alcohol-free ?? !!) without asking. It was from the boss Radeberger, wherever, but worried warm and not on tap. Although 2x Penne with side dishes were ordered, 2 x a large salad plate was served, etc. and so on ... it would go beyond the scope here to list all defects. I was just sorry for the nice waitress who couldn't help it. We cannot recommend this restaurant and will avoid it. Too bad.

We had to wait almost 45 minutes for our food. It was not asked whether you might want to have a drink and when an invoice was requested in the end, it had to be written by hand because there is apparently no printed receipt ?! The invoice then, unfortunately, only included the amount and the subject of eating and drinking! I would have used this invoice for my company, but then I need a list of the drinks and dishes. Well ... The food itself was ok. but again no thanks

Even though there were only 10 guests (with us) in the restaurant, we waited over an hour for the food and in the end the bill was far too much, since the restaurant itself was overwhelmed with the 10 guests. Food was quite good, but overall not recommended.

Have eaten here twice in a short time very good kale. Portion is generous (dish) and the price reasonable. Unfortunately, the service staff on our second visit was pretty bad. The friendly cook makes up for it but almost.

Food was delicious. Price / performance I think alright. Service very nice. Ambience inside and the grounds could be a little more appealing. Still 4 out of 5 stars.

The food is home-style and quite good. The portions are sufficient - we had different food. The service of the waitress was attentive and good. The business of the "new" tenants, however, is UNTRAGBAR. The new tenant leads in front of the guests unsightly disputes with customers. Obviously the restaurant is represented in the new voucher block of Kiel; However, the operators not only refuse to grant the advertised discounts, they also conduct unqualified discussions in front of the other guests. That was a very daunting business transaction. We found this very strange and were very shocked by the way the operator. Nobody wants that

Good and rich food, price / quality very good

If you like the 80s, this is the place for you. Very cute family business, with down-to-earth, hearty-tasty cuisine and a bit dated furnishings. The nice waiters and the food as with mom but make up for it. I always go back, if I want to eat something "right" :-)

The food, it was farm breakfast, is unfortunately not recommended ... the "fried potatoes" were not durchgebraten, mushy, the bacon was almost still raw and the onions we could at the table also in such large pieces cut. And then you pay a whopping 12,50 €, just too expensive.

Unexpectedly good, very tasty and very nice. We will be back.

I was eating in the Posthorn tonight and from my point of view, everything really fits here !!! The food was really good and fresh, the service was super fast and very pleasant in dealing with the guest. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and would come back anytime !!!

We went to the Christmas buffet there was everything for Christmas preferred and it was all very delicious. For a long time I would have eaten no waffles from the waffle iron, so the waffle has impressed me most of the most.
